The UMREK 2025 Workshop, organized by the UMREK Education and Certification Working Group, was successfully held on February 24, 2025, at the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration. The workshop addressed crucial topics such as the UMREK Code, the Competent Person mechanism, continuous professional development, and best industry practices. The event attracted significant participation from sector stakeholders, public officials, Competent Persons, academics, and non-governmental organizations.
